The medium of instruction is both English and Bengali in Part I and Part II. From
Part II onwards the medium of instruction is English.
New academic curriculum has been introduced from the Session 1999-2000. The entire
curriculum is divided into 5 parts. Part I(at the end of 1st year) and Part II(at
the end of 2nd year) and likewise Part III, Part IV and Part V. For appearing at
the University Examination in any part, students are required to qualify in the
sent up examination securing minimum of 40% of marks.
